Ottolenghi Chilli Sauce

Everyone has their favourite from various chilli sauces including gochujang, sambal, shatta, nam phrik, and Tabasco. This formulation features a pungent, acidic, and notably spicy profile. The fermentation of red chillis contributes distinct flavor compounds. It can be incorporated similarly to other hot sauces: mixed into yogurt, applied to sandwiches, or integrated into sauces to enhance heat and complexity.

Ingredients: Red Chilli (69%), Olive Oil, Red Jalapeno Peppers (Red Jalapeno Peppers, Salt, Acid: Acetic Acid) (9%), Cider Vinegar, Sea Salt, Lemon Juice Concentrate, Tomato Paste.
